your chance to dine at the fat duck melbourne

The Snowdome Foundation is auctioning a ‘Chef’s Table for 4’ generously donated by world-renowned Chef, Heston Blumenthal, to help raise money to fight blood cancers. The booking is for 7pm on Saturday 11 July, 2015*, which is only a few short weeks before the restaurant will close and head back to the U.K.

If you were one of the thousands to miss out on a table, you now have a chance to join an online auction where all the proceeds will go to helping ‘unlock’ new treatments for Australian blood cancer patients. This generous donation may represent your only chance to secure a booking at the Fat Duck Melbourne and experience the amazing magic that Heston brings to dining. Go to www.galabid.com/snowdome to bid and find out more.

John Lethlean, The Australian’s food writer, has called The Fat Duck ‘the most impressive restaurant experience of my life’. Others have called it a ‘once in a lifetime experience’ and Simon Plant from news.com.au says ‘Lunch or dinner at The Fat Duck is a singular experience: an invigorating, informative, fun, strange, often downright mad culinary adventure. In other words: magic.’ One can only imagine that the experience would be so much more enjoyable knowing you have also contributed to helping Australian men, women and children with blood cancers get access to a new treatment.

“This year marks The Fat Duck’s twentieth anniversary and fulfils a long-held dream of mine to open a restaurant in Australia,” says Heston. “I am really proud to be associated with Snowdome and the work they’re doing. It makes my Australian experience even more special and exciting.”

Snowdome’s auction has opened and will close at 5pm on May 15, 2015, after the MayDay charity luncheon.

The auction will take place online via Galabid. For more details and to place a bid, go to www.galabid.com/snowdome. Please feel free to share this link.
